Mission
Statement
WJZP
Community Radio is dedicated to informing, engaging, and
empowering its listeners with community-based radio
programming. WJZP promotes the alliance of Portland's
citizenry, non-profit organizations, schools, colleges,
and businesses for the betterment of Portland, Maine.
To achieve our mission, we are
committed to the following areas of station programming:
Community
News and Civic Events
WJZP
Objective: To assist community leaders by disseminating
important civic information and to inform our listeners
of community news/events.
Cultural Deliverance
WJZP
Objective: To further artistic and multicultural
expression in the greater Portland community.
WJZP
IS A GROWING NETWORK of committed long time
listeners. Individuals, organizations or
foundations can pledge support for WJZP,
understanding they are helping fund an independent jazz
radio station build a reputation as a musical entity,
committed to the public interest.

Community Radio operates under the umbrella of ALL
INCLUSIVE, INC. a nonprofit education and cultural
organization, chartered in the state of Maine, licensed
with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC),
authorized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 charitable
organization. As a nonprofit organization, WJZP seeks
support via listener donations, membership dues, program
underwriting, and grants from charitable
foundations/government agencies.
